    The colored squares in the across-clues correspond to the final word: green for "correct letter in correct place" and yellow for "correct letter in wrong place" (grey is a letter not found in the solution).

      Thank you! I've played Wordle before, just saying that with these five "guesses" as given, it's hard to pin down the final letter. (In this particular case, I'm pretty sure that STAMP is the only possible word with those first four letters, so I should have seen it sooner…)

        Ah, my apologies for assuming. Yeah, there is some guessing. I think I've missed a wordle because I got the first four letters too fast and just tried to go through the possible final ones, but there were too many XD
