As a literature prof, I was initially worried about ChaptGPT.... but having had it write a few papers for me now, I'm not worried at all. In fact, I think I'll have ChatGPT write some papers and go over them with my class to show what not to do. Maybe bots will get better, but for now they can only write superficial analyses that lack the kind of textual analysis that makes them good papers.
