Great puzzle! The crossing at 12-D/18-A felt disproportionately tricky, but recluing 18-D as the unit of energy or the variety of stationary exercise equipment should fix any accessibility issues.

whew! loved puzzling my way through this one downs-only (and I was very grateful for the extra help from the theme entries, even if it did feel a little bit cheaty! I was so relieved when the penny dropped about the secret bonus hint in 12D! thanks very much for the puzzle.

7 down should read antonym not synonym. Otherwise solid.

Thanks for solving and for the feedback. I'm using both SHOT and STAB as synonyms for try, so in this case they're equivalent, not opposite.

Great job! I had to do a few letter reveals in the top middle. Now I know about sybil. Erg got me too. Hadn't heard of Pete & Gerry or Pogram.

Thanks for solving - glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if Pete & Gerry was nationwide or not but I figured I'd give them a shoutout because it's the brand we use.
