    I didn't know LIBS (shocker), OTIS, or ISIS but getting DOGS kind of unlocked things for me 🐶🐶. Nice puzzle!

      Fun! It took a little guesswork (1D) and a bit of outside research (the Downton Abbey dog name was at least as opaque to me as the particular spectrometry abbreviation) but only occasionally can I manage down-only. Thanks!
