    Fun puzzle, as usual, thanks! Truth be told, I'm a freelance editor, so while looking at the clues, "COMBATTING" looked odd to me so I looked it up. Both COMBATING and COMBATTING are correct spellings, but it turns out the one with two T's is a bit more common in British English, and the spelling with one T is more frequently used in American English. Both are correct though, according to Merriam-Webster. Learn something new every day!😄
