It's a Stretch

Constructor's Note
The letters in the clues for 5 Down and 16 Across are supposed to be widely separated. The way I formatted those clues isn't accurately reflected on the screen.

Really liked the long word clues! :D
If you want to add more whitespaces in the clues you can try adding the Unicode for a space “   “ between the letters, I’m not 100% sure it works in the published puzzle here in the comments it           seems to work (Maybe you already tried this, in that case ignore this!)

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that next time. I'm getting increasingly frustrated constructing with Crossfire. In an upcoming puzzle I tried to include some Greek letters and it let me clue them with keyboard shortcuts but wouldn't reproduce them in the saved puzzle. Thanks so much for solving!

I found Crosserville because it has the ability to search grid patterns by long-theme-entry length (and a few other filters), and have stuck with it since. The autofill and interface keeps improving, and it remains browser-based and free to use!

      Clever and well-balanced. I particularly enjoyed 13A

Loved this! It was a great mix of cryptic and general knowledge and I laughed out loud at the long cryptic clues in the middle
