As I get started constructing puzzles, my mind jumps to familiar/personal connections for the longer entries. As a longtime resident of 11A11AState capital on land called Taychoperah (Four Lakes) by 5A[-------] and the land of 5A5A"People of the Big Voice"[-------], I was really pleased to be able to create a puzzle to showcase this connection.
While it doesn't necessarily have to take the form of a crossword puzzle, it's important for everyone to acknowledge and learn about the history of the land you live on, along with its ancestral owners. Here's a great starting point: https://native-land.ca/
