      Nice theme! The DMOVIE entry really had for me a while.. i thought it was DMOVIE as in two grades worse than a B-MOVIE. Funny once I finally got it :)

              I remember a WSJ puzzle a few years ago with a similar gimmick but different execution. For example, one of the entries was 30 Across: Rock star. TINAFEY
