Constructor's Note
Another 1-2-3. Use the rebus to enter 1, 2, or 3 letters per square. This one ended up being quite a bit tougher than I originally intended, but I really like the fill, so I’m leaving it as is. Additional hints for the harder entries behind spoiler tags. Good luck!

        Oh, LOL- I missed the alternate clue! The sustainability program. My MIL used to be a district superintendent in a very rural area. She hooked us up with some beef & pork from some of the farmers near her. It was an interesting experience- cooking a lot of cuts that I wouldn't typically buy at the store, as you're working through the entire animal and not just eating endless ribeyes and tenderloins or getting shoulder for smoked pulled pork and carnitas and whatnot. Forced me out of my comfort zone a bit.
