Use the rebus to enter 1, 2, or 3 letters per square. Inspired by Games Magazine's "One, Two, Three" puzzles. This time, with symmetry! Hoping this one is a bit more approachable. Good luck!

            oops, I always misspell 31A as the planetary layer between crust and core... I guess "ungentle" doesn't exactly fit the crossing clue, though `^^ love these 123s! i'm glad you didn't overcorrect on the difficulty level... it's still challenging, but not to the point where you get hopelessly stuck and make no progress for 15 minutes. :)
