      The seed for this grid was 23 Across, after which, not knowing the first thing about cosmetics, I did a great deal of research to find other make-up-related puns. (I blush to say it took a while.)

          On my first pass, I put FRY for 60A.
          Anyway, I really enjoyed the puzzle. Thanks for the challenge. I only needed to check the puzzle for one square (OiL vs. OYL). I feel like I'm slowly getting better at these. :)
