Constructor's Note
Had to add the center square to make it easier to fill. Sorry for some of the obscure words, the puzzle just wouldn't fill without them.

That was a fun and fair challenge. The only truly obscure entry was 45A, but it was gettable from the crosses so no harm, no foul. Thanks for sharing!

38A was an entry that I've never seen before, so it was more of a challenge to clue than the other words.

Very nice puzzle. I liked the stacks on the top and bottom. It would be helpful if you were a little more precise in matching the clue to the answer. For example, if you made 30-A "Takes care of the lawn" instead of "Taking care of the lawn" and made 31-D "It's full of pupils" or "Something full of pupils" instead of "Full of pupils," it would feel more fair to me. On the other hand, as long as everyone knows the rules you're playing by, it's not a problem. It's just that I'm used to puzzles where things match.
