This one was a bit easier than your first for me, though I think that came down to the cluing more than the enumerations. 1D is a really clever &lit, though I'm curious what sense of "gets...going" you intended in the surface, I originally read it as "it starts her ranting/complaining" but not sure if you intended that or something else. Also a big fan of connected clues so 5A/6A was quite fun. Thanks!
Yep, that's the intended surface for 1D! Basically it just really aggravates her. Thanks for solving and the helpful comment, and of course there will be more to come!
I like this grid shape; the 3s give a nice foothold into the meatier 7s! The double P.I. clues were cute, and I liked the wordplay for everything. Cluing was definitely easier for this one, especially 6A and 8A. I think 3D's really, really good, although I wonder if there was a musical angle here on the very EARWORM-y song "Creep." I also loved the Ghostbuster-y 6D, and my favorite was 7D: what a deceptive phrasing of [Person in labor]!
5A: A + TEC + ROW
6A: th[E PI TO ME] (contained)
8A: PO(rcupine) + KE(strel) + MON(key)
2D: (BLOKES + I)*
3D: h(EAR)d + WORM
4D: TO + W
6D: P + S + E reversed
7D: p(EON)
