Fairly happy with this one. 5D was a nightmare to write and the clue came out extremely difficult, so please make good (ab)use of checking letters! 7D is a particularly British word.

    Fun quick cryptic! I have to ask, for 2D does the "That's not on!" clue for taking away an E in the word "peer?" that's a pretty subtle way of clueing that I might have to utilize in some fashion for the future!

      Great puzzle. Can't believe I fell for the 'rowing' misdirection! That was one of the last ones I got. I couldn't quite parse 5D. I got REGENERATES(?) backwards but could work out why to remove the ATES.

        Thank you! 5D is supposed to be REGENERATOR ("after injury, one grows back") backwards ("up"), minus ROTA ("schedule"). The deletion has to happen post-reversal, which isn't something I've ever done / had to do before.
