        HTS = heights, nothing to do with baseball (the STAT clue is about baseball, but heights are also a kind of statistic)

        25A: I learned about TEDLASSO from crosswords, except he usually appears in a clue for TED that just says something like “TV’s ___ Lasso”, hence my assumption in the clue.
        8D: A Mario quote. He says it after the credits roll in a bunch of different games, starting with Super Mario 64 which is the first game in the main series with Charles Martinet doing that iconic Mario voice.
