Pleased with this theme, but the execution could surely be better. (Went through a lot of options, and still got just a taste of how much work and how many revisions go into some publishable themed puzzles!) Still, hope you enjoy; would really appreciate any feedback, especially on rough spots in the grid and any ways to ease the cluing. Thank you!

    I actually thinks it's fine as it is - cluing is reasonable and there's no cringeworthy fill. Nice puzzle!

      Thrilled to learn the term AAVE from 27A. So much better than the less than neutral term “Ebonics” that I grew up with. A very fun solve.

            Thank you! I’m honestly not sure which “Chris Hemsworth” it is, but here’s the track on Spotify — it’s a mellow electronic instrumental, and if I did my research correctly it actually made it onto the Billboard Top 100 at some point. (This is one of the aspects that I wish I could have improved, but I finally just wanted to publish!)

                I was wrong, I found it on Spotify, not on the Billboard charts! Clued only that way, this would definitely be too obscure
