Killer job on the "Sound of a murder?" clue! Also really dug the one for ALPACA.

...Yes, this is definitely a film-themed puzzle.
Loved the clue for POW! (it stands for Puzzle Of the Week if anyone's curious). So I guess his favorite clue would be a COW? Doesn't sound as awesome.
And on today's episode of "me overthinking clues", I was thinking "Warmer?" at 6D would be something that warms, like a BOILER maybe (I had the final ER filled in when I saw the clue).

UPDATE: Yesterday’s NYT puzzle clued ATOMIZERS as “Misters”, without the question mark. Now THAT is a mean clue, potentially.

That one was a doozy! Oh the English language with its ambiguities. I'm always impressed with the cleverness of the NYT's Thursday and Friday cluing.
Thanks for sharing your CAW, I mean COW!

Great puzzle! Loved the interpretation of the theme. And I couldn't agree more about CARA

31A had me in stitches. Well done!

Nice job with the theme. I was thinking of 1980s Bill Murray until I had a few of the crossings filled in.

Amazing puzzle! The [and literally within this clue] definitely helped me with some of the crosses! As long as those clues are as clever as the ones you wrote here, I think they're great for the harder entries!

I liked the cluing! I found it difficult but a lot of fun!

So fun! Love the unexpected, technically true, twist on the theme.

                    Sure is film! Great puzzle.
