Like everyone else, 3D is my favorite because of the timely "It Follows" use, but I also enjoyed 1A, 8A, 11D, 12D, and 24D. Personally, I'd stay away from indirects like 10A and I think 17A has a shared root (i.e., the beer is called that because it's "robust"), but they were still fun to solve.
Thanks! I tend to agree about those two—I wanted 17A to be a little bit of a freebie since it's pretty isolated there in the middle of the grid, but I suspect I'm risking the opposite.
