      For those who don't know, a tesseract (commonly called a hypercube) is a 4-dimensional object. The way a cube is made of 6 squares, a tesseract is made of.... 8 cubes! Haha.

          Fun theme! Though I don't really get how CUBAN which is clued like the theme answers fits? Since the rest are things that are actually shaped like a cube?

            It doesn't really, hence the question mark. It's more of a joke about the theme. It sounds like "cube" but it's not actually one of the 8.
