I liked the theme and especially the diversity of eras of slang!
Interesting that the long entries are unthemed and the theme entries are shorter.
Felt like some of the fill was a bit rougher but overall a smooth solve and interesting!
(FYI in 21D it's "Aurelius"; and I wasn't clear why that bit was needed… disclaimer that horror films, especially gory ones, aren't my thing, so I haven't seen any of the series.)

Thank you, I intended to surround the puzzle border with slang words, then I forgot I did that after I titled it, maybe a new title to give it better context. And I agree on 21-Down, I don't watch horror films at all, I wanted so bad not to use that answer but I felt stuck with it, hoping people would let it fill in with the other answers surrounding it. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it! On to the next!

"Thee" isn't Old English, it's actually Modern English! In Old English "you" was "þu"/"þe."

You know what, I didn't even cross reference that, thank you! I'm changing the clue. Thanks for the lookout!
