    EXPLANATION: This puzzle's middle blocks represent a compass, which is spelled out by arranging the italicized letters in the clues in order. The circled letters in ANCHOR along with the ones around KEY is a clue to translate the corresponding letters into their respective directions (N to North, C to South, H to West, and O to East). This leaves us with ANSWER KEY, the solution to the meta!
