I'm obviously not the first to note the birth anniversary of 12A, but I hope you enjoy this puzzle nonetheless. Feedback appreciated as always!

      No need to be embarrassed! I aimed for tricky (but so far it looks like I erred a bit too far on the tricky side… as usual). Thanks for solving!
      11A was intentional… though apparently they were tied in 2012, and now it's 89% for git vs. <1% for svn (unsure how they compute this though).
