Constructor's Note
The goal of this puzzle is to be easy enough to teach my family how cryptics work, so if you're an experienced solver it should be relatively easy for you. Enjoy!

      hi! I am very new to cryptics, and I was able to get them all (save for a few extra minutes of brain fart). they all had such precise clues.
      I do really wish 13d had 99 instead of One Hundred. reading one hundred and thinking "IC" has the nerd in me angry lmao. Your clue for 1a was fantastic tho! and all of the connectors outline it really nicely to fill in the gaps (which I very appreciate)
      I hope your family enjoys the puzzle as much as I did! :D

        Speaking of brain fart, I completely forgot that IC is a valid Roman number for 99, I'll change it because it should have been that from the start lol
