Meta Prompt
This is my first try at a puzzle with a meta. The solution is an author (first and last name), who is clued by some of the answers in the grid. Four answers leading to the meta should be reasonably obvious, but there are a couple more hidden characters in the grid too. If you spot them, let me know!

      Thanks. Maybe having ARTHUR DENT obviously dead centre made it a little too easy - not that I was expecting it to be anything other than simple!

      Nice construction. I don't think I would have noticed ZAP/HOD and MAR/VIN without the extra hint.

        I doubt they'll help anyone with the solve! I think I only put them in there to make the grid construction more annoying for myself.
