- Hi Mike, I'm not getting colors on the wordl clues, just various types of semi filled squares. I'm running chrome version 97.0.4692.99 on MacOS 10.14.6 (Mojave). Let me know if I can provide any more information, or test something out. Love the site!
- Hey are you able to view those emojis in color when they are on another site? Like the wordle success emojis folks have been posting to twitter so frequently - do those show up correctly for you? I think emoji are all handled by the browser/os/font combination you're using so I'm not sure what Crosshare can do differently to get them to show up but happy to try my best!
- I have this problem on an older mac too. I do see the wordle things display correcly on facebook and twitter. After some digging, it looks like facebook is doing some magic where they replace the unicode emojis with their own png, e.g. https://www.facebook.com/images/emoji.php/v9/t5b/1.5/16/1f7e8.png
- Interesting! I'll have to investigate if twitter is using the same trick, too. Or try to figure out how come it's working there.
- Investigated and confirmed they are doing the same trick - rendering all emojis as images. I'm going to think about whether that makes sense for Crosshare. Thanks for the heads up!

- I'm not on twitter or facebook (or reddit or anything else ... I know ... I know)It's probably too much work, but what about coloring the squares' backgrounds in the grid, a la the Wordl site?Anyway, no worries. I still love the site. Thanks!
