Clue Do

· Di kieranjboyd · Pubblicato 2024-08-16T23:05:44.812Z

Constructor's Note
Murder! In the manor! Gasp! It's up to you, detective, to figure out the identity of the killer, how they did it, and where the murder took place. Scour the clues - they will reveal the names of the suspects/weapons/rooms you can eliminate from your catalogue of crime. (I must apologise and remind you that I use UK spelling, and prefer modern UK things in general). Only then will you be able to make your accusation and solve this mystery!

    Hints:
    1. The title references a famous board game that involves solving a mystery - familiarity with that game's mechanics and current line-up is required here.
    2. The instructions tell you to "Scour the clues" - maybe check for any names that might be hidden between the words?
    3. You should be able to find 5 suspects, 5 weapons, and 8 rooms - the missing elements from each set reveal the details of the murder.
Solution: Mrs. Peacock, with the lead pipe, in the billiards room. Well done, gumshoe!
If you need any specific answers, drop a comment and I can help out. 😊

Legitimately one of the most clever crosswords I've ever played, amazing!!! Once I saw "Scar let" I knew something was up, but I didn't expect so much more. I felt like a real detective checking off suspects and finding the answer :D
