Loved that 1A and 16D provided even more bonus mathy content, beyond all of the calculus entries.
I might put “(2 words)” or “(2 wds.)” rather than just “(2)”
In the clue to 20A there’s a stray apostrophe. 19D is kind of a clue/entry dupe.
I didn't get 31A.
13A seemed awkward — the NYT puzzle has 25 instances of NARCS but only two of NARKS (one of which was flagged as “Var.”). (Maybe because of the intersection with 13D: "Moksha" is a more common anglicization, but IMO "MOKSA" is totally okay too.)
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I've changed some of the clues based on them.
13A: According to Merriam-Webster (the dictionary I've been using) both NARCS and NARKS are used, but I wouldn't have any idea how to clue MOCSA.
19D: I've changed this clue to an earlier version I had but figured was too niche - I totally agree with the "ROLLING" and "REROLL" overlap.
I also changed 31A and was happy to find a math-related clue for it, but I'm worried it may be too difficult (but if you're doing a calculus puzzle, you probably have some experience with other bases.)
Again, thank you for solving!
