Looks like I currently have 26 of your grids and 11 metas to go! Your themeless grids are playing out for me the way I think a great crossword should. I get maybe a fifth (or less? wild guess) of it filled in with the first pass. Then each following pass gives me a word or two. Not much, but just enough to give me another word or two the next time, and the next time, until I've managed to fill it all in without looking anything up, and then I feel smart. Somehow smarter than if it all came easily right away. If that makes sense.

Dang, thanks, I'm flattered! Themelesses are the hardest to construct, because "everything is fill" yet "nothing is fill," so I try to make as many of the answers and clues as interesting as I can... but also to make them clean as possible, without too much obscure or difficult trivia, nor too many partials. I've submitted a few themelesses to LA Times in the past (they politely said no, but only because they're the hardest to get published, as the grid has to be super-spotless... no partials, very little obscure answers, etc.) So it's nice to hear this about my themelesses... I've definitely been working on them more over time, so grateful for the feedback! Cheers.
