Definitely a puzzle on the harder side of things, given the fill and the underchecked grid. I'd be wary of vague definitions as well, like [Woman] in 7A for S+AND+RA, or imprecise synonyms like EX+E+[-a]UNT in 23A for [Cast out].
A few clues that I couldn't parse:
14A (is this referring to the actor and the TV show?)
16A (is this like JA and then ??)
I liked 11A (but I think it needs a ? to be a so-called cryptic definition), 15A, 22A, 13D, 17D, and 18D.
And finally, some grammar to consider:
9A: [a communist] would be A RED, no?
Make sure your anagram fodder makes surface sense, like 10A's [I hold foot spa used] or 2D's [Oust way twisted].
1D: Is [hail] meant to be the anagram indicator? [lands]? Could probably cut right to [A noble is infertile, it's said].
6D: Whether the definition is [gives good reception] or [good reception], it needs to be something more like [it gives good reception].
