    what a doozy, this is a very difficult puzzle (and hopefully soon the rating will show this -- I had such a hard time with this puzzle)

      I hoped you liked it!
      STRNS is supposed to be straightens. When making this, I couldn't think of a five letter word to be the antonym of SCREW, so I looked it up online and that was the first result.

      This would still be a hard puzzle but be cooler if you had grammatical agreement between the clues and the answers. The pairs of word mentioned in 19A are antonyms, not ANTONYM. STRNS (straightens) doesn’t agree with (the antonym of) SCREW, but STRN (straighten) would. DOES doesn’t agree with “prevent”.
