          Good puzzle! I appreciate big anagrams, so liked 1D and 7D was wonderful! I don't like "outside" as a hidden indicator; I would have said "Unicorn eats some part of an eye". In 3D is "about" supposed to apply to "be", or is the reversal unclued?

            good stuff! enjoyed the misdirections like 7D. some of the defs felt a little off in terms of part of speech agreement (like 20D), but probably a matter of style. going to go back in time and find more to solve :)
