More practice at those tricksy puns. This is a mixture of ONE-CLUE, TWO-CLUE and BUILDING BLOCK PUNS, but they're all very tricksy. Think laterally and try to find the meaning beyond the obvious of all the words in the clue. What are ALL the things that the verbs "have", "tank" and "date" and the nouns "trip" and "top" can mean? Do word association - e.g. what words do you associate with "cricket" or "fuel"? If a real/fictional character or place is mentioned, what are they famous for? If you enjoy my crosswords, you'll LOVE the Cryptic Mystic's fantastic YouTube channel, which has been kind enough to feature a couple of my crossword. Hope I'm commenting on the right puzzle here: I seem to have three open in different windows but can't see how to get back to the puzzle to check... Anyway, just wanted to say that manzanilla is the Spanish word for chamomile, so you can see what confused me there.
Yes - I found that out when i googled "manzanilla" just to check I hadn't just dreamed it was a type of olive. ("Chamomile" in Polish is "rumianek", I seem to remember)
