    What an exercise in restraint (and I admire the "cheat" in 1D, craftier indeed to re-turn)! I'm impressed that most of these have sensible surfaces, even when they're comically absurd ("Owl's Law" in 2D). The only one I didn't love was 3D, though I'm impressed with the wordplay of "rolls dry" there—and again, you had MAJOR constraints to deal with!

        Loved it! Not sure about verb tense for the indicator in 5D ("struggling" would be better, I think); otherwise a very good puzzle :D
