    So, for 22A I could've chosen something like LOCOmotives, but I wanted all entries to contain the "bananas" word somewhere in the middle. Hopefully the crossings are fine.

        22A was a mouthful but was ultimately gettable, and I appreciate that you kept to your conviction about the theme symmetry! Loved all the wordplay and misdirects; for an 11x11 there was a lot of clever fill to match wits against here.

            I agree that 22A is a great choice (a SOLO CONCERT isn't really a thing), and that the clues are fun and interesting!
