I kind of wondered about 1 and 3 but didn't fret too much about either, and Nudge 4 completely went past me.

Way to turn a trait into a meta Cap! I have to admit I kind of knew it before I started (given the date) but still went through the solve just because your girds are always so much fun, and this one was no exception. I did try to find an EGG for the Easter (or Paschal) Lambs but I figured that was not one of them in the end. Some wonderful cluing as usual.

You know I was sure I'd find a clue that was "Male Scoundrel" and "Hide like a pirate" or "What parents often say they don't want to hear even one of from their children" - but darn that was a fun puzzle as it was.

Oh, you guys didn't think I'd let a punning contest go by without at least one shot did you? The filling for the basket is OBVIOUSLY called Eggcelsior! (though I admit I like Fauxliage as well!)
