My favorite clue is 45 Across. If you don't get it, look up what Florida State's sports teams are called and do the math.

      Nice one, tho I naticked myself at the 22A 22D cross.
      Interesting bit of trivia for ya - the band’s name is "Eagles" - they don’t actually use the “The”, tho it seems everyone else does.

        Thanks for solving! I didn't realize that about the actual band name. Looking back at the clues for 22A and D, I see that they're harder than the rest of the puzzle. Maybe I'll keep 22A as is (I like the crytpic-ish approach to it instead of just cluing it as to and __, or something like that) and make the 22D clue more obvious.

        The SEMI-NOLEs (groan)... I'd say including NOLE was worth the pun, but I would've probably filled that corner with crosswordese OLEG over crosswordese NOLA, crossing TELL and EGAD.
