That's so derivative

Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is a seven letter word. I could say it is what you have to look for to solve but that's probably stretching it a bit.
What to you call an eight-legged mollusk that performs in movies? AN ACTOPUS!
That... has nothing to do with this meta. Nothing at all.
This is a specialized knowledge/trivia/themed meta that will require extra knowledge (and it isn't calculus) to solve. I imagine it will either play as 5 or a 2 in difficulty with nothing in between. And you will probably require some googling. But if you get what I'm going for it should be straight forward

Lion King isn't Hamlet? What am I missing? Thanks!

Well, one big difference is Simba's mother isn't in the picture (and doesn't marry Scar). Other difference is there's a happy ending.
[Actually my original clue mentioned the lack of the mother, but I removed it as I figured my objective was to draw attention to the similarities and not draw attention to the differences]
But yeah, it's essentially a retelling of Hamlet.

Sorry, I meant that because I thought Lion King is a retelling of Hamlet, the first letters seemed to spell DOUBLEH, not DOUBLES.
