  DNF -- you'll see why. I thought it was mostly quite nice. Clue-by-clue notes:

  5A: I wouldn't use "OVERSEAS" in the clue when "SEA" is in the answer.

  6A: complete miss. Don't know Kendrick's discography. Not a fan of using "5th" on a two-word phrase; I guess this is a real song? otherwise not sure why you'd use it here

  1D: "this place" feels wrong for a book of the bible. Maybe "here"?

  2D: (7) feels misleading, this is definitely (4,3) or (1-3,3)

  If I didn't leave a note, I liked the clue. I especially enjoyed 3D--clever def/indicator split.

    I had gotten too comfy with Crosshare's auto-enumeration button that I forgot to split up the clues that were multiple words, including 5A

    Also yes, Kendrick has a series of "The Heart Part. _". His latest album (GNX) has part 6 of this series, written "heart pt. 6" — it was a total Kendrick-themed clue. I've now reworded it to avoid a two-word phrase. Admittedly you do have to know Kendrick's music to solve this clue, but I felt that including "GNX" in the clue would have been too obvious... a choice was made, I hope at least most people can get it considering the album was #1 on Billboard
