Meta Prompt
The meta answer is one of Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time
Good morning, Crossharers!
It's Sssunday, and it must be sssumery somewhere, so it's time for the Sunday Summer Substitute puzzle!
I originally conceived this as a non-meta puzzle, but I realized that I could make it a meta simply by not including the answer in the grid. And metas are more fun, right? I certainly hope you have fun with it.
I don't think you will find it very difficult, but we've all heard that before, so we'll just see what happens.

Figured there had to be another piece to it, and eventually after googling rock songs with fire in them I spotted what had to be the answer. Nice one, thanks. :)

- DrTom 4s · più di un anno faSo, I trudged through FIRE by Arthur Brown, certainly in my memory banks but hardly a GREATEST category, then there is FIRE by the Pointer Sisters, again good but no. Hmm, the fire kept going around like it could not be stopped...Can't Stop the Fire by the Boss, certainly good but short and not much lyrics. The entries containing the words had nothing to do with orbs or balls so Jerry Lee Lewis was out, what to do, what to do. It was like I was just descending into this giant ring of fire, and as I went down the flames kept getting higher, it just burned, burned, burned - that ring of fire. Nice one Barbara, very Sunday satisfying of a solve.
