As a literature prof, I was initially worried about ChaptGPT.... but having had it write a few papers for me now, I'm not worried at all. In fact, I think I'll have ChatGPT write some papers and go over them with my class to show what not to do. Maybe bots will get better, but for now they can only write superficial analyses that lack the kind of textual analysis that makes them good papers.
I'm sure you want to bang your head every time someone turns one of those papers in. OTOH, ChatGPT might not be bad at writing crossword clues (as long as they don't have too much wordplay)
When I first discovered Crosshare someone on here published a puzzle entirely clued by ChatGPT. Must've been about a month ago. They mentioned they had to play with how they asked the question and said they didn't have to change much...
