Phenomenal, hip surfaces! I really, really like the use of [dub] in 1A. I think the concept of 5A justifies the ambiguity of [ass] referring to the last two letters. I think [lost snakes on vacation] is cute (although I wonder if there's a more fitting S*S word for a jerk). 2D is a great misdirect (he'd be proud, I think)—it's just all good, all the way through.
