  Fun! I was sure that 3D was STYLE (with the definition "class") so this took some extra thinking to solve! I got ATARI from "video game publisher" but wasn't sure about the wordplay - is it that ARI, a nickname for Ariel, contains TA, a synonym for "Great!"?

  What everyone's already said; 2D is a nice layaway for yourself, 3D has a fun charade ("coach class"), and I rather liked 1D. The CRYPTIC stuff is all top-notch, so well played; fun to decipher.
