Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta should be obvious given the puzzle's title
Time to put your lateral thinking caps on and see if you can solve two puzzles at once: the one in 6 down, and the meta, the answer of which should be obvious given the puzzle's title. Answer and explanation: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?t=1349&p=76726#p76693
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Where does "at a pinch" come from? Everyone I've ever known says "IN a pinch", which makes far more sense to me. Fun puzzle, though!

Fun puzzle. I remember the 9 dot puzzle from childhood (a long time ago!) which taught me to think outside the box!

very much liked the puzzle overall but overthought the answer and spent way too long looking for a nine+-letter answer that actually followed a path necessary for solving the nine dots problem
