Good stuff, but one bit of constructive criticism: the surfaces feel a little nonsensical, which makes (for me at least) the seams between each part stand out. If that's your intent, so as to give an easier puzzle, success! But "corrode" instead of "corrodes" makes the hidden obvious, the use of "trave" makes the anagram pop, what's a "new twig" in this context? I think 3D is your strongest clue.
