Meta Prompt
The answer to this meta is an entry from the grid that really should have had a clue that fit the theme like the other five meta related entries but didn't.
Nudge 1: Considering the theme is "The Sea" there sure isn't much about the sea in this puzzle
Nudge 2: Maybe all mentions of the theme have been deliberately omitted
Nudge 3: So put the mentions back in....
Nudge 4: It's a meta. So go meta-ing.
Nudge 5: You have a five letter word.
Nudge 6: That five letter word is like the first words of the clues of the meta themers.
Nudge 7: The answer to this meta is an entry that really should have had a clue that fit the theme like the other five meta related entries but didn't.
If you come up with a creative alternate solution, I may be generous and accept it

Fun! I always liked The Horse And His Boy, it's so different from all the others in the series. Haven't read those books in years!

Funny, I was thinking of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe -- I know that's the first book, but it works for that one too.

Excellent! My first entry was wrong because I completely misunderstood the nudges LOL but that was fun to solve and a very clever and creative construction. Thanks!

I gave up, but now I see the answer it makes total sense and is something I should have noticed. I think I was just confused by the meta prompt!

Clueing a Narnia book is tricky when you don't say the same because there's 2 orderings. Fun puzzle though!

Voyage of the Dawn Treader doesn't have any Title character and a bit of a pet peeve of mine but why on earth would anyone order books in chronological order of the events that occur just because the events happen in that order; why should that have any bearing on the unfolding an concentration of the narrative?
