This puzzle was constructed over a year ago with my dad, Philip McMahon. These are all basically the same clues as we wrote so long ago, and some of them may have broken certain crossword commandments, and for that I apologize. But I hope you have fun with it!
Really impressive that y'all made this whole grid on paper, as you told me! The way the clues are arranged as they would be on an actual hand blew my mind, and I didn't even notice it until I had completed the puzzle. I really enjoyed 28A and 53A as entries too, I haven't seen those before.
Some cluing praise:
My favorite clues were 24A, 8D, & 22D. I loved the mislead in 74A, and 18D was my personal fav (as an anagram lover). Also as a rapper, I'm mad it took me so long to get 57 down!
Constructive feedback:
9A, 56A, & 34D read like cryptic clues with double definitions muddling their clarity. These would be great for a cryptic, but I'd revise them so they don't confuse the American-style crossword solvers. (56A might be revised as "Moscow ___" or "Drug smuggler")
