Please journey with me further along the variety puzzler's hedonic treadmill. In this 5x5 puzzle, every answer is 4 letters long, because every row and column has exactly 1 "empty square" (CrossHare does not allow for this to be literally empty, so please use the rebus function to mark the empty squares with "XX"). In the final solution answers may read "BXXEAR" and "YAMSXX", e.g., but these should be understood to be "BEAR" and "YAMS" respectively. Just trying this out, not sure if it's a fun solve or not, let me know what you think!
