Sheydah #18

◆◆ · Di ariel haymarket · Pubblicato 2022-09-13T10:25:45.218Z

Tips appreciated to help this Texan keep taking estrogen! Warning - puzzles often crass, anarchic, and approaching NC-17 territory.

Shouldn't the 53A clue start with "having"? It feels like it's cluing IS INTO if written that way.
I found this slightly less Sheydah-ish than #17 but it may be because that one has a bunch more names (that I didn't know - I remembered TITO from crosswordese and as a math student, the FOURIER clue was a nice piece of trivia). I got the wordplay in TORSO and CAPRI quickly but STGEORGE got me good, I was expecting some kind of British spelling.
I'm currently working on a themeless and I was thinking about making it roughly Sheydah-hard, so seeing this in recent puzzles was a nice surprise!

Now that you mention it, yeah, that's a good spot. Wishing you the best in your own construction ventures!

Puzzled over this one for quite some time this morning - I thought I was going to have to give up and Google, but I somehow made it through! The right side was MEAN, especially the top right corner. Thanks!
