The answer to the meta is a 10-letter word that you might exclaim upon solving the meta
Here's a nice puzzle for you, inspired by many, many, many crosswords I have solved over the years. The answer to the meta is a 10-letter word that you might exclaim upon solving the meta. Nudges available here: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?p=181284#p181284
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Très bien! I have a recording of a performance from one of my favorite bands- The Joy Formidable- that I believe was aired on French radio. It's introduced by the DJ with French pronunciations of the name... so I've heard FORMIDABLE said in French many times... and it's a significantly cooler word when spoken in French!
Incroyable! Actually retained enough high school French to know all the words without resorting to Google translate. Thanks for the puzzle, Ben!

Nice one! (Would try a harder French word but I did German…). Had to google some names! (Never heard of 13A, 65A, 70A, 59D) but that doesn’t mean they’re not well known… I’m just super bad on current celebrity stuff.
Can't solve this week's, so continuing my MOAT time travels. Spotted the French words of course, but didn't think to translate them until I read the nudge. Fun idea, especially since I have passing familiarity with French
