There's a certain two-word phrase that I've been thinking a lot about from a wordplay perspective, and so eventually I had to make a puzzle with that as the seed. It's 11-Across.
Two more things about the long entries: (1) "West Coast" is also the title of an Imagine Dragons song. It has the lyric "I'll be your West Coast, honey," and, like, it would literally make more sense in my opinion if it was "I'll be your guest host, honey." (2) It's not at all true, but I really really want "ghost" to have originally been a hybrid of the words "guest" and "host." Or a shortening of "guest host."
